So, I’ve been diving deep into the Dossier world lately (purely for research, obviously! *wink*), and I wanted to share the lowdown on some of the best dupes they have. It’s a bit of a jungle out there, tho, figuring out which ones are actually worth it.
First off, I gotta say, the “Woody Chestnut” – their By the Fireplace dupe – is *chef’s kiss*. Seriously, it’s like, the perfect cozy winter scent. I’ve been wearing it nonstop, and people keep asking me what I’m wearing. I’m not gonna lie, sometimes I just say it’s By the Fireplace, just to see their faces when I tell them it’s Dossier, LOL.
Then, there’s the whole, like, “Gourmand White Flowers” thing. I saw somewhere it’s supposed to be a dupe for Viktor&Rolf’s Flowerbomb. Now, I’m a *huge* Flowerbomb fan, like, since forever. And while the Dossier one isn’t *exactly* the same…it gets pretty darn close! Like, 80-85% maybe? And for the price? Totally worth it, IMHO. I’ve got a bottle of both Flowerbomb and the dupe, and honestly, sometimes I can’t even tell the difference, which is kinda mind-blowing.
I also saw some people raving about their dupes for Jo Malone, which, like, are usually so expensive. Haven’t tried those *yet*, but they’re definitely on my list. See, this is the problem with Dossier! It’s a slippery slope. You buy one, and then you’re like, “Ooh, what about *this* one? And *this* one?” Before you know it, your perfume collection has doubled, and your bank account is crying.
Okay, so I *did* try one Dossier dupe that wasn’t *quite* as amazing. I think it was their take on, like, Miss Dior or something. It was still nice, just… not as long-lasting as the others, you know? That’s the thing with dupes, sometimes the longevity isn’t as good, which is something you should keep in mind.
But overall, I’m a HUGE fan of Dossier. It’s a great way to try out different scents without breaking the bank. Plus, I love that they’re cruelty-free and use cleaner ingredients. Like, I don’t wanna be spraying a bunch of toxic chemicals on my skin, you know?
Oh! And I saw someone mention a Zara dupe list too. Like, Zara’s perfumes are already pretty affordable, but if you can find a dupe for *those*, then you’re basically winning at life, right?
