First off, I saw this thing on StockX about Miu Miu streetwear, mentioning a Denim Hat in Black/White. Cool, cool, but more importantly, it mentions “StockX Verified”. Now, I’m not gonna lie, the whole “verified” thing makes me feel a *little* safer when dropping serious cash on a hat. Like, you don’t wanna end up with some dodgy knock-off, ya know? I mean, a Miu Miu hat is an investment! (Okay, maybe I’m being dramatic, but still…)
Then there’s FARFETCH. They’re all about “100s of new season pieces” and “express shipping.” Which is tempting, *very* tempting. Express shipping is my weakness. But is it worth the extra cost? That’s the real question, isn’t it? I saw it mentioned you could just “shop Miu Miu Hats” there, which is vague but hey, at least it’s an option.
And then, okay, this one is kinda weird. “A refined and alluring aesthetic characterizes this new viscose raffia hat.” Okay, Miu Miu, calm down. Just tell me if it’s cute! Viscose raffia? I don’t even know what that *is*! They then go on about a “mesh effect” and a “band in a contrasting color.” Sounds…fancy? Maybe? Honestly, this description just makes me feel slightly intimidated.
But HERE’S the crucial bit, especially if you’re in the EU. The last blurb says “For orders shipped to countries within the European Union, there are no customs duties. All prices are inclusive of value-added tax (VAT).” Woohoo! That’s a win! Because nobody wants to get hit with surprise customs fees, am I right? That’s the WORST. So, if you’re eyeing a Miu Miu hat and you’re in the EU, you’re golden, kinda. Price you see is (hopefully) the price you pay.
