Anyway, back to the wallets. You see all these designer dupes popping up everywhere – and let me tell ya, some of ’em are actually pretty darn good. Like, you gotta really squint and maybe have a professional assess it to even *tell* the difference. I mean, is it *actually* worth splurging on the real deal? I’m not so sure anymore.
I saw something on Vestiaire Collective about pre-owned Balenciaga wallets. That’s kinda smart, actually. Get the real thing, but at a (hopefully) less insane price. But even then, you gotta be careful, right? So many fakes out there. It’s, like, a minefield of potentially dodgy designer goods.
And then there’s this whole thing with Gucci x Balenciaga collabs. Honestly? A bit much, if you ask me. It’s like, too much luxury crammed into one thing. I’m not saying it doesn’t look cool, but like, it’s just…overkill. Maybe I’m just not boujee enough.
Farfetch is slinging Balenciaga wallets too, fancy stuff for the ladies. But like, do they REALLY value luxurious details that much? Maybe some do. I guess it just depends on where your priorities are.
Okay, and then there’s the whole men’s wallet scene. I feel like men’s wallets are generally a little less…out there? Maybe I’m generalizing but I feel like it has a more practical focus than a fashion statement.
Honestly, I’m rambling now. The point is…Balenciaga wallets are cool, I guess. But before you empty your bank account, maybe check out some good dupes or look for a pre-owned one. And for the love of all that is holy, make sure it’s legit! Cause no one wants to be THAT person rocking a fake Balenciaga wallet. *shudders* That’s just…a tragedy.
