I mean, it’s kinda funny ’cause, like, back in the day (according to some bio blurb I saw), he was, like, super skinny and had this “androgynous look” and was, get this, afraid someone would call him out for being gay. Can you even imagine?! Now he’s, like, a total icon. Guess things change, huh?
Anyways, so Kors and Le Pere have been together forever, basically. Like, 21 years! I read somewhere that Le Pere was an intern at Kors’ Paris office way back when. That’s kinda adorable, if you ask me. I bet there was some serious flirting going on there.
And then, New York legalized gay marriage, and BAM! They were hitched. Apparently, they were in a rush. Like, “Gotta get married NOW!” kinda rush. I can dig it. When you know, you know, right?
It’s really cool that Kors is super supportive of the LGBTQ+ community. He gets that Pride is about living your truth, and, ya know, that equality and love should be for *everyone*. It’s not just about, like, rainbow flags and parties (though those are fun too!), it’s about, like, basic human rights. Good on him for putting his money where his mouth is, donating to LGBT causes and all that. Not every rich dude does that.
