First off, don’t even bother with Dick’s Sporting Goods. Unless they started carrying seriously high-end athletic duffels I haven’t heard about. Seriously, that was a weird result, right?
Now, Nordstrom, located in the “BEST of Winston” listing, is your most likely bet for the real deal, authentic Gucci. They specifically mention Gucci belts, shoes, bags, etc., and that iconic GG logo. I’d def call ahead just to be sure they have the specific handbag you’re drooling over – you know how it is, those things fly off the shelves.
Then there’s Facebook Marketplace. I mean, it’s a gamble, right? You might snag a legit Gucci Marmont for a steal (or think you are), or you might end up with a *really* convincing fake. Buyer beware, my friend. Inspect that thing like you’re trying to find buried treasure! Pics can be deceiving, and some people… well, they ain’t always honest. I’d definitely meet in a public place, preferably with good lighting and a friend who knows their Gucci.
Windsor Store at Hanes Mall… they *might* have something that *looks* Gucci-ish, but I doubt it’s actually Gucci. They seem more like a “trendy-but-affordable” kinda place, you know? I mean, Barefoot Dreams throws are heavenly, though! But for Gucci? I’m skeptical.
Myers Greenhouse mentioning “luggage sales”? That’s just… random. I’m not sure what that even has to do with anything. Maybe they sell Gucci luggage? I’d say its a long shot. Probably better to save your time.
A Proper View is a boutique that might have a Gucci-adjacent kinda vibe, but I seriously doubt they’re carrying actual Gucci. More like “inspired by” which isn’t a bad thing if you want a similar style without the Gucci price tag. They mention shoppers, totes, etc. so maybe they have something that catches your eye?
And lastly Purse & Handbag Repair and a second Facebook Marketplace search seem to point to the same issue as above, that there may be bags here, but they are likely gently used or knockoffs.
